No one wants to have to handle serious challenges during the holiday season. However, it is not unusual for individuals to face many difficulties during this time. Some parties may even have to contend with criminal charges if police officers accuse them of drunk driving. Though it may not have been on the holiday agenda, finding out information on defense options may be wise.

It was recently reported that a man was charged with DUI in Tennessee. Apparently, the man had been driving at approximately 5:30 p.m. when his vehicle collided with a second vehicle. The second vehicle had been parked on the shoulder of the road and was unoccupied at the time of the crash. It was noted that the driver of the first car lost control of his vehicle.

The driver suffered injuries in the incident and was taken to an area medical center for treatment. Authorities also charged the man with DUI, but it was not mentioned whether any blood tests were utilized to determine the driver’s blood alcohol content level. It was noted that the incident was still under investigation at the time of the report.

The arrest and drunk driving charges may put a serious damper on the man’s holiday season. Nonetheless, he still needs to handle his situation as best as possible. Gaining information on the charges brought against him as well as Tennessee legal procedures for addressing such cases may help him better understand his predicament. This scenario is undoubtedly stressful, and having useful information may also allow him to feel more at ease.
